Wind Ensemble
The Crestwood Wind Ensemble is the premiere concert
performing group at Crestwood High School and performs
literature at a grade 4-5 level. The ensemble is selected each
fall by audition with group instrumentation of around 50
members.
Open to students
by audition..
This ensemble comprises the most outstanding instrumental
musicians at Crestwood High School, and will have as a primary
focus the preparation and performance of the fine literature for
the wind band. While students will already possess a high degree
of ability, the further advancement of musical skills, both
individual and ensemble will be paramount to the success of the
student and the organization. There will be out-of-school time
required for rehearsals and performances.
The Crestwood Wind Ensemble has
qualified for the State Concert Band Adjudicated Event
consistently where they earned a Superior Rating.

Recent News
The Crestwood
WE will performed Friday, April 27, 2007 at the OMEA State Large
Group Adjudicated Event at Highland High School in Medina, Ohio. The
band performed for a panel of 4 Judges, three in the performance and
1 in Sight reading. After a truly emotional and inspiring
performance the Crestwood Wind Ensemble earned
straight I's on
the Floor and a II in Sight reading from some of the hardest judges
in the state! This is the first time in 16 years a Crestwood band
has received a SUPERIOR Rating at the State Concert band Event!
Congratulations is in order for all members of the wind ensemble for
their hard work and exemplary musicianship and performance!!
